What we say matters.
How we say it matters.
When we say it matters.
Why we say it matters.

Having become aware of the previous textures of awareness, acceptance, accountability and action, we are now more aware of the importance of language and how it affects our life. Language is one of the most influential ways we connect with ourselves both internally and externally. What we say really does matter. By changing the meaning we place on events though the words we attribute to them, we change the emotional vibration attached to the event and eventually our world changes within this new perspective.

The process of coaching consciousness is a way to become a more informed and textured consciously connected person. You are preparing the way to become a parent with the ability to coach your child through life’s experiences.
Here are some thoughts to keep in mind about the concept of coaching.
Coaching is:
• Inspiring, building strategies, writing a new story and connecting, clarifying and committing to a new perspective.
• Creating a shift in language, listening, seeing, thinking, and actions.
• Learning to associate with and trusting that we have the knowledge and ability to make healthy decisions for ourself.
• Looking at our internal and external conversations objectively.

A friend just sent this to me, and I love it each time I read it… and each time I read it, a different part stands out for me to question. (As I’m not a religious person, I substitute the word ‘energy’ for God, it just works better for me.) This time the phrase “Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.” is the part that stands out.
I ask, “Just WHO am I NOT to be playing it BIG?” what makes me think I can’t? Usually this time of the year I just participated in an EarthDay event in Santa Monica with my line of characters Bebuddies. This year the event is not until June? I found myself thinking that the Bebuddies will never have a chance to make the difference I know they have, can and will make in thousands of peoples lives. That I was doing everyone a dis-service by stopping the passion I feel for their progress…then I reread this quote by Nelson Mandela and realized I was thinking small. Thank goodness for wake up calls no matter how they come to you…it’s the awakening of spirit, your personal drive, energyOS that pushes you forward to success. Watch out Barney and Mickey… here comes the Bebuddies!
I hope with viewing this, be it your first or 15th time, you will find some part that will answer the questions you are asking internally of yourself, today.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our LIGHT not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’
You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. You were born to manifest the glory of God that is within you.
It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we’re liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”–Nelson Mandela

Ha! Have you ever said “I wish I knew what I wanted….” I know I have. Whether it was about a relationship, business or a personal life choice. “What do I want?” has come up at one time or another.
We move through life from one day to the next, making decisions as situations occur and then one day we “wake up” and wonder where we are, why and how’d we get here, and we feel lost and disoriented. But what did you want in the first place and you can’t answer the questions or you think how did I get so far from that dream? What did you make it mean and the importance you placed on it?
A life or midlife crisis is about not knowing and being in a place of not being able to move your mind, your thoughts, your perspective or your dreams into the “what’s next” in your life. You might have experienced a loss of some kind, a loved one, a job, a dream or something else that has “upset” the perception of what is normal for you. I’ve experienced it and have moved through into the new dream. But when you are in this phase, you are not always thinking clearly so I’ve developed a process that helps. Here are a few pointers:
1. Acknowledge that you actually feel this way.
2. Start writing out what those feelings are|
3. Ask yourself if you did know what you wanted what would that be.
4. and most important what do you make it mean and why

Today’s twitter question was about smiling. For me, a smile is the smallest form of energy creation. It has the power to immediately change your state. You hear people talking about being tired, stressed out, feeling stuck, these are all low energy feelings. I suggest you give smiling a try and then find something to laugh about, you’ll be up and running at full speed in no time at all with a renewed direction and focus.

biz_tips To me, there is nothing more beautiful than a smile. Unfortunately, I have learned that very late in life!
I do this at least once a week… and each time I do it the same way. I walk out the back door, out to the alley, on to the next street, down to the light to cross the major boulevard I live near, past all the businesses blah blah blah and into the store. There you have it, the journey.
But today I said to myself, Stop IT! today is a good day to see the trip in a new way, lets have a little fun…which seems to happen more and more. I guess I tend, like most of us, to be comfortable in the safety of the knowing of doing something I do a lot.
So I walked out the front door, out the front gate, around to the next street and crossed the larger boulevard in the middle of the block (very illegal), past all the businesses and this time noticed that the architect was renting 1/2 of their space, that the machine shop was closed, the AA meeting was in session and I noticed that there were more than usual pots for cigarette butts, a homeless person was asleep on the sidewalk, the street-lights were taking what seemed to be longer than usual allowing me to cross, the fence had come down and a construction trailer went up at the old Shakey’s that is being transformed into I don’t know yet… a man was talking to a meter-maid who was giving him a ticket, cars were stopping to let me cross driveways and streets they wanted to turn into and no matter how many waves for them to go in front of me, did they go… and a man in a hat walking towards me very stiff actually took the time to direct his eyes, without moving his head, and smiled and nodded to me as we passed…an allowing of one another in to the others world.
What is all this about you’re wondering? I didn’t just change the way I did something… I transformed the way I saw what I was doing.
As a nation they say we are moving into change… lets keep our eyes open, straight ahead into transforming the way we see the world…smile and nod acknowledging our new perspective.

I never get enough of watching videos and seeing what people are doing, thinking , saying about what their passion is… each is unique in it’s self and in the process the creator took in making it.
I have a FLIP and I really enjoy it, you can see my videos in the BeASmile.com Webcam Category in the sidebar to the right. I haven’t posted all of them on this site but on YouTube you can find them under KareenArt.
I hope you enjoy this selection of videos featuring William Shatner, they will not be the same each time you come.
