Having become aware of the previous textures of awareness, acceptance, accountability and action, we are now more aware of the importance of language and how it affects our life. Language is one of the most influential ways we connect with ourselves both internally and externally. What we say really does matter. By changing the meaning we place on events though the words we attribute to them, we change the emotional vibration attached to the event and eventually our world changes within this new perspective.

The process of coaching consciousness is a way to become a more informed and textured consciously connected person. You are preparing the way to become a parent with the ability to coach your child through life’s experiences.
Here are some thoughts to keep in mind about the concept of coaching.
Coaching is:
• Inspiring, building strategies, writing a new story and connecting, clarifying and committing to a new perspective.
• Creating a shift in language, listening, seeing, thinking, and actions.
• Learning to associate with and trusting that we have the knowledge and ability to make healthy decisions for ourself.
• Looking at our internal and external conversations objectively.

Sometimes we just need to slow down and consider our clients and their motivators.
Twitter didn’t do that in my opinion… and had to reassess their action and did a quick back-step. I was wondering just how many of their employees actually are using twitter and did they even poll them to see how they liked the function of ‘replies’. And now, we users are primed for future changes, but not in the way I think twitter intended! Improvements in their eyes but in ours, their clients, a problem, a restriction.
I like twitter. (follow me here KarrieRoss on twitter) I’ve made some really interesting connections with people I wouldn’t have normally met. It could be because of location, industry, interests… but, twitter brings us all together in a sharing capacity and, for me, that is what the replies action is all about. Being able to carry on a conversation and share it with others and at the same time spreading who I am to people who might not know me, but the person I’m conversing with…NETWORKING
Now, lets take this lesson and apply it to your book, product or business.
When positioning your business and motivating your customers always remember to see your actions from your clients perspective and ask the question “Will this add to their benefit or not?”
Remember, do something everyday toward your book design, product or small business promotion and branding.

Ha! Have you ever said “I wish I knew what I wanted….” I know I have. Whether it was about a relationship, business or a personal life choice. “What do I want?” has come up at one time or another.
We move through life from one day to the next, making decisions as situations occur and then one day we “wake up” and wonder where we are, why and how’d we get here, and we feel lost and disoriented. But what did you want in the first place and you can’t answer the questions or you think how did I get so far from that dream? What did you make it mean and the importance you placed on it?
A life or midlife crisis is about not knowing and being in a place of not being able to move your mind, your thoughts, your perspective or your dreams into the “what’s next” in your life. You might have experienced a loss of some kind, a loved one, a job, a dream or something else that has “upset” the perception of what is normal for you. I’ve experienced it and have moved through into the new dream. But when you are in this phase, you are not always thinking clearly so I’ve developed a process that helps. Here are a few pointers:
1. Acknowledge that you actually feel this way.
2. Start writing out what those feelings are|
3. Ask yourself if you did know what you wanted what would that be.
4. and most important what do you make it mean and why
What are you doing with your energy?.
Be a smile. Be a cause. Be IT Now!

No, parenting isn’t a flu, or something we buy at the store. It also doesn’t have a bunch of salespeople who knock on our door at dinner time AND there is no renewable license! So what is the how and where of parenting?
My coaching is about energy, so lets start there as a how…yes, stretch your mind into this… it will be fun. For the purpose of this conversation, lets imagine parenting being attention. Oooooh sounds good doesn’t it?
If the saying “energy flows where our attention goes” can be considered correct, then when we place our attention on the action of parenting, we are creating the energy, passion, necessary to push it forward into our lives, our thoughts, feeling, actions, our consciousness.
So, HOW do we “get” parenting? What is the “get” we’re getting? Does “get” stand for understanding or to acquire something OR maybe it’s both?
First we’ll look at understanding. The ability to get or perceive the meaning of, grasp what is meant, to interpret.
Next we’ll look at acquire. The process to get or gain by one’s efforts or actions, get possession of or get as one’s own.

Creating conversations, sharing what is going on in your life, with your child from the time of conception is one of the best sources of connection you can create. This is a ‘natural’ feeling of bonding. I believe from the moment the child is conceived they are open to and receptive of our voice, feelings etc.
Being a mom, I remember the feeling of life inside me and how very motivating it was for me to know that I was making a difference in my child’s life with every move, feeling, food, thought and statement I made. AND when he was born I didn’t stop, I talked to/with him all the time everywhere. If you speak they will listen, even when you don’t think they are.
In my award winning book “Engaging the Textured Parent! Within. you will learn how to create a conscious connection with your child and feel the difference you make when you transform your perceptions by sharing your life with them.
Remember, parenting begins from the inside out! It’s up to You!

We teach children how to see, to observe, to watch, all the time. Then somewhere in this process, learning gets lost and left at whatever place they stopped with learning colors or putting names to items. Identification leads to an awareness of observation, a “what to think about” when making choices, which toy to play with or crayon to color with.
When children learn how to consciously observe the world around them, they will always have something to do… Be watching! This can show up in activities such as watching clouds, listening to sounds outside, watching how a car is fixed or a cake is baked and the watching will be especially absorbed when they get to help.
When the thoughts and actions that we take for granted are brought in to our awareness with a why question, they take on a new form, a texture, and become a substance that is observable and therefore moveable!
And you thought you’d had enough of why questions from your two-year-old! Just wait until you reacquaint your self with the magic of Why.
Remember, parenting begins from the inside out… and getting to know your energy begins now!
