I’ve talked about not being able to sleep… sometimes when this happens “magic in the night” shows up and gives me a boost of the wonder of being alive. Tonight was such a night for me.
It’s early, all evening I had thoughts running through my head… I’m in the mist of a change of thinking so I’ve been staying up late, early. I was just finishing my evening sitting, meditation when I heard voices outside and when I looked out, there were about 15 cyclists riding by my home… it’s 4 a.m.! Young men and women, bright front white lights and rear flashing red lights, conversation, giggles, backpacks, waterbottles, and helmets.
Share on FacebookAs a parent one of my biggest fears was that I was going to transfer my fears and weaknesses to my son. What I learned was that as long as I was aware of my fears and the what and how they showed up I was doing fine.
It was when I began noticing that I wasn’t always aware I had a fear until I was “in” it that the Wow! I had to deal with it right then with my son present, that I started the questions.
Questions that guided me on my path of becoming a more consciously connected parent and brought and created a continuous sense of wonder and adventure to my life and my sons.

Some places you might encounter this unique behavior are: elevators, walking down a street, restaurants, malls, parks, museums, beaches, movie theartres, grocery stores, especiall the produce section, card shops, etc. I encourage you to b’friendly with yours!
